Why don't we start with one of the most iconic Japanese food, SUSHI!!! There are so many different types of sushi that can tailor to any taste or preference. In Japan (a country the size of California), there are about 45,000 sushi restaurants. Compare that to how many there are in the United States, which is around 4,000. Isn't that crazy?

Curry is very popular in Japan even though it is not from Japan. Japanese curry is stew-like with vegetables and beef/chicken in a thick broth. Indian curry is made from scratch most of the time, but Japanese have the broth premade which makes making it that much easier for people who don't have much time to cook. Have you ever had curry?

Ramen is one of the other most important food products that comes from Japan. Rice noodles, egg, pork, and green onion are just some of the ingredients that go into one popular dish. Ramen takes years of practice to get right. Some people even dedicate their whole lives to perfect this art! --------------------------------------------------------------------------->
